Advisory Councils are the
Cornerstone of Community-Centered Politics!
Members of our advisory councils are representative of our community. We are building councils to ensure Jess can hear from the people who are directly involved with each diverse part of our community. If an advisory council does not exist and you think it should, let us know so we can establish it. Members of the advisory councils:
Meet to discuss issues important to their members
Provide feedback and direction to Jess about the issues important to them
Engage with and recruit other community members who identify with the experiences and/or identities of those on the advisory council
